Feb 8 – Feb 9, 2013 Idyllwild, CA Jie teaches a workshop on crafting circuits. First students made a series of circuits on the pages of mini-sketchbooks and then applied these circuit sketches to a final project.
We were invited to conduct a lamp-building workshop at the Stanford Transformative Technologies Learning Lab using a new version of the Codeable Objects lamp software. During the workshop, educators used a combination of computational design and laser cutters to create colorful paper lamps, while discussing the educational potential of combining programing with digital fabrication.
