Bio
Jie Qi is a graduate student in the High-Low Tech group at the MIT Media Lab. Her current research investigates materials, techniques and processes for blending electronics and computation with paper as a new medium for creating expressive and personally meaningful technology. Jie holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University and has worked in electronics design and fabrication at Eyebeam Art and Technology center.
